FLORA LUCAS CASPILLO November 24, 1923 August 21, 2011 Peacefully on August 21, 2011 at the Victoria General Hospital, our beloved mother, sister, grandmother, friend, passed away at the age of 87 years. Flora was predeceased by her loving husband of 61 years, Herminigildo. She is survived by her family in Winnipeg and the Philippines to cherish her memory. Daughters: Florencia (Alfonso) Lacuesta, Rosalinda (Domingo) Abad, Rosita Tablang, Mherly (Fresco) Calderon, Remedios (Jun) Dimaya; sons Bernardo (Dolores) Caspillo, Robert (Cecile) Caspillo; grandchildren Roland (Corina), Randy, Reno, Elmer, Alfe, Louie, Byron, April (Derrick), Everly (Jessie), Cris (Kathleen), J.R., Czarina-Kay, Hubert Ivan, J.P., Brenda Lyn (Jerry) and Florfe (Renato); great-grandchildren Sean-Michael, Jay-Jay, Larry, Jacob, Carlo, Joshua, Mia, Kacey, Gizelle and Jerry Jr. Viewing (Lamay) will be held at Mosaic Funeral Chapel 1839 Inkster Blvd. on Saturday, August 27, and Sunday, August 28, 2011. Lamay commences at 6:00 p.m. and concludes at the request of the family. Vigil prayers will be held on Saturday evening at 7:00 p.m. with Monsignor Enrique Samson Jr. presiding Mass of the Resurrection will be held on Monday, August 29, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. from St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church, 748 Keewatin St., Monsignor Enrique Samson Jr. celebrant. Interment will take place in the Philippines at a later date.
